SMS Terms

The terms that apply when AVTDB sends text messages to your phone, including consent, frequency, opt-out, and carrier disclaimers.

Last updated: 2026-05-17

1. Program name and purpose

The AVTDB SMS program is called AVTDB account & operational notifications”. It is a transactional and account- security messaging program. We do not send marketing SMS through this program. If we ever launch marketing SMS, it will require a separate, explicit opt-in.

2. What messages we send

  • One-time passwords (OTP) for signup and sign-in
  • Account-security alerts (new device, password change, suspicious activity)
  • Billing notifications (failed payment, upcoming renewal, receipts when explicitly requested)
  • Operational reminders related to jobs or shifts you have configured (e.g., upcoming call time)

4. Message frequency

Frequency varies based on your account activity. Most users receive fewer than five (5) AVTDB messages per month. OTP messages are sent on demand whenever you sign in or perform a sensitive action.

5. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan and carrier. AVTDB does not charge you for the SMS itself, but your carrier may.

6. Opt-out (STOP)

To stop receiving AVTDB SMS, reply STOP (or any of STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE) to any message you receive from us. We will send a single confirmation message and stop further SMS to that number, usually within a few minutes and always within 24 hours.

Opting out of SMS may affect features that depend on SMS — for example, you will not receive SMS-based OTPs, so you must complete two-factor authentication by another method or you may be unable to sign in. Some security-critical alerts may still be sent in situations involving suspected fraud or account compromise, as permitted by law.

7. Help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any of our messages and you will receive a brief reply with our support contact. You can also reach our SMS support team directly at sms@avtdb.com.

8. Supported carriers and disclaimer

AVTDB SMS is delivered through major US carriers (including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and their MVNOs). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and we cannot guarantee message delivery times. SMS delivery in areas with poor signal or to non-supported numbers may fail.

9. A2P 10DLC registration

We send messages through registered A2P 10DLC campaigns as required by US carriers. Sender identity (AVTDB LLC), use case, consent flow, and sample messages are filed with the carriers via our SMS provider.

10. Privacy

Your phone number is shared with our SMS provider (Telnyx) only to transmit the messages described above. We do not sell your phone number, share it with marketers, or use it for any purpose outside this SMS program and security/transactional needs. See our Privacy Policy for more.

11. Phone number accuracy

You agree that the number you provide is yours, that you are authorized to receive SMS at that number, and that you will update your account if your number changes. You may not provide a third party’s number without their consent.

12. Changes to these SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice. Continued use of SMS features after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
